Consultation/Activity Types

There are currently four types of activity to chose from when you 'add a new activity' in Citizen Space.

  • Online Survey: Create a survey that respondents can complete online.
  • Email/Postal Consultation: Use when respondents are required to reply to a consultation document by email or post.
  • Link: Create a page with a link to a consultation site or online tool elsewhere.
  • Offline Consultation: Create a page with information about an offline consultation, such as a public meeting.

The following pages contain questions about each of these options, to help us understand what types of processes and actvities you use them for (beyond the obvious ones mentioned in their names) and what functionality is important for each one.

 

Breakdown of usage for each type of activity

Since the start of 2021 we've had over 7,000 activities published on Citizen Space, with about half public and half private.

This table shows how often each of the four existing templates are used for public activities, private activities and the overall use.
